Matteo Cavedoni, has been a collector since his teens, regularly attending many city markets throughout Italy.
After graduating, his passion for numismatics turned into a career, leading him to travel across Europe, building strong working relationships with high level numismatists such as Alain Baron at NGSA in Geneva, Dimitri Loulakakis at Baldwin's in London, Rauch in Wien, and to attend the major coin fairs and auctions firstly in Europe then the U.S.A.

In March 2000, he opened his first shop in Florence, base-metal collectible coins, bullion coins, medals and banknotes.

As a professional numismatist, skilled in coins from 18th century onwards, he offers collectors advice and valuations and furthermore collaborates with Fabio Gigante and Eupremio Montenegro for their popular national coin price guides. In 2011, he opened MCN s.r.l. and the e-commerce website linked to it.
